What a Difference a Week Makes

I TOLD YOU! I told you I'd wear flip flops this weekend after shoveling eight plus inches of snow on Monday! Ahhhhh it was glorious. The flip flops were out, the skirts were out, Preston was back in bucket hats! We had a really nice weekend playing outside. We also went to the Richmond Home and Garden show where Preston had a blast on the tractors and eating a big blue Tootsie Pop! There were also a ton of landscapers who had mock backyards set up. He had a lot of fun with the waterfalls and fire pits! (There was no real fire)!

Today we had to do our annual hat shopping for Preston for new summer hats. Children's Place and Janie and Jack came through again for us! I also scored an $8 button down from Janie and Jack for next year. This was also a monumental weekend for Preston because he got to wear his Crocs and we all know Preston's obsession with Crocs, which are also great for his wide pudgy feet!

He also mowed the lawn for us:
And apparently the driveway needed mowing too:
It looks like this is just passing weather for now-we are going into the 60's and possibly 50's this weekend, but at least I know we are heading in the right direction! Have a great week everyone!

Totally cute Pres! Love the Childrens Place. I got to hit that store soon. I am in need of getting some larger crocs for Aidan too. You are right, they work great for their wide feet. We had lots of rain in Cali at the beginning of the week but by weekend we were sunny and in the 60's. It was wonderful getting the kids outdoors. Preston looks so professional mowing your lawn, can I borrow him for our lawn?

I can definately relate to the skirts and flip-flops! I need to find Lilah some new hats, it seems the 3 cute ones we bought last summer will not suffice!
And does Preston mow other lawns? We're in need of a cut!!!
*CUTIE PIE!!!*

ADORABLE!!! Love the crocs, too - we got a pink pair for Caitlin that are lined with pink leopard print faux fur - she loves them, and they fit her perfectly!

How enjoyable that must have been! Can't wait to show you-know-who that awesome tractor pic. I have been stalking the Children's Place for a beach hat for Seamus and they have not entered the stores yet! Did you get it online? I may need you to pick me up one!! Great job mowing Preston :-)

We only had one nice day here, but it's so nice to see what's to come!! I always say how cute or handsome Preston is, and I'd love to say something different, but it's really the truth :) Love the mowing pics :) Can't wait to see the hats! I was just telling Matt we needed to do that soon, hoping for nice weather!

Yay for nicer weather!!!! We had a nice taste of it too up here in PA. I'm the same way, flip flops right away and the girls had to have their crocs on too! Now I just have to find a pair small enough for Sonya's infant size 3! I love Janie and Jack! They have some of the cutest clothes!!! I love the cute pictures of Preston mowing the lawn, what a cute good helper!

Absolutely adorable pics of Preston, as always! He's so cute with his blue tongue and helping mow the lawn! We loved being outside with the nice weather this weekend too.
I can't wait to see Preston's new hats! I've gotten Simon a couple of cute hats from Children's Place, but I can't get him to keep them on his head . . . maybe Preston can have a chat with him. :)

Ok, I will have to show Trace the pic of Preston on the tractor - he will love it! I haven't even started to look for hats yet - Trace pretty much only wants to wear his John Deere ball caps. Talk about clashing with outfits! Trace was also mowing the lawn this weekend - it was sooooo beautiful outside! Are you guys going to make the zoo trip in a couple weeks? Trace and Preston would have a blast!

Great pics! Don't you just love how they mow the driveway? I'm glad you guys got some nicer weather up there...I can't imagine not being able to wear flip flops! I think I wear them 355 days a year (sad, I know!) I can't wait to see all of Preston's new hats!

Gee - I haven't seen a lawn mowed for ages down here due to it all being - well - dead! Think I'd forgotten what it looked like - thanks Pres for the very cute reminder! I LOVE the Children's Place, but alas - we dont have it here :(
