It Just Struck Me....

He is going to be THREE! Three! Oh my God where did the time go? I love him so much it hurts even though his new favorite saying is "BE QUIET MOM-MY!" Even though we fight to brush teeth (I mean we are now up to four types of toothpaste courtesy of grandma), or putting on the pair of shoes he does not want that day (when will I learn to just buy one), his hugs, his kisses, his smile just make me melt. So here is just a post about how much I love him. He is getting so big and so grown up! He is just the light of my life. I won't go on too much-I'll save that for the birthday post!

Ok I am also posting because Katie is pretty unhappy with the once a week Preston updates and I am sure Mel will tag right along with her on that one. Here are some cute pics of the dude.

Kim, you are such a wonderful mom to that little guy!
I totally know how you feel...sometimes when I look at pictures of Sam and Anaïs I get teary eyes just thinking how much I love them and what a better person they make me every single day!!

I sound like such a broken record, but those pictures are way too cute :-) It's so scary to watch them grow up - scary because you're both amazingly proud of how they're turning into such grown-up kids, and because of how fiercely you miss the baby that they used to be... It's these emotions that drive us to do the best for them that we possibly can!!

Congrats on almost turning 3!!

Kim, Preston is such a handsome boy! He's going to quite the popular one with the ladies later in life!

I know what you mean about your baby turning 3! It's unbelievable how time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing Caitlyn home from the hospital and here she is, 3 and a half years later! Enjoy every single day, minute, second with Preston (as I know that you already do)!

You know how cute I think Preston is! I wish I could just steal him for a bit (don't send any authorities, I won't really take him). And I know how sad it is, I literally cried last year when Laynie turned 5. How could my first baby be 5???? And now I see Peyton`and I wonder how my last baby is 19 months. Time just flies! But I won't tell you to savor every moment, becuase I think you already do that!

Thank you, Kim! I can't believe he has four different kinds of toothpaste. I have only two choices. This kid is a prince!

Yes, I was rather unhappy with the once a week photo update. I cannot believe the little man is almost three. I feel like breaking into the maternity ward to see you guys was last week!

I remember when Liz turned three, (I say that like it was eons ago - instead of just a year ago). Anyway, what I loved about it was her vocabulary suddenly exploded shortly after her third birthday. Suddenly, we were having actual conversations. There's a lot to look forward to - enjoy it all!

Okay, Kim, here is what you do - you should only have to do this a few times before he realizes it is easier to open his mouth - lay Preston on the floor, pretty much sitting on him with his arms pinned down and his head pinned between you knees - proceed to brush his teeth while he screams - I know its terrible, but it only took a few times to get Taylor to quit fighting me and was well worth the end of the tooth brushing battles that ended in both of us crying!

Awww! He is a cute little dude! Almost 3... oh, boy! My Akela will be 4 soon and she is always telling me to "be quiet mommy!" and "no! I want to wear the shoes with the pink flowers on them!" It's too cute how their little personality and style just starts beaming out of them at this wonderful age! I can't wait to see the birthday post!
