The Ants Go Marching One By One

Preston found an ant colony outside our apartment. There are about 100 to 200 ants marching back and forth. Occasionally he tries to "touch" an ant and that poor unfortunate soul marches up to ant heaven. He does try to jump over them but once again there are a few foot soldiers who fall victim to the bottom of his size 6 Stride Rite. Here is Preston super excited about his ants!

Too funny...Seamus is also fascinated by bugs. If he finds one, particularly a caterpillar, he plops right down on his belly and starts shouting at the poor thing, "Hi bug! Where you going? What you doing?" I suppose it's better than being afraid of bugs, like his mother!!

You crack me up! RIP dear ants! I feel like I have so much to look forward to with Cole when I read about Preston. I wish I could just give him a big 'ol hug and finally meet the little guy!!

That one paragraph has a lot of funny packed into it. Love the second picture, it's like he's in the middle of shouting out, "what ants?! What?!"

Preston is such a boy - we are not bug friendly around here - Taylor and Trace are ant stompers!

I just told my husband that I think Preston and Evan would be good buddies if they lived near each other! He is way too cute--his personality shines (even over the computer).

Love the second picture where he's pointing down at the ants with both hands for DOUBLE emphasis on how cool they are! Preston, please come to Michigan so we can meet you. We have ants in Michigan too!
