Random Pics and Annapolis!

For Mother’s Day, Katie and I bought my mother plants for the garden.  We bought her a decent sized coleus plant.  Decent sized.  Well evidently they grow pretty well in 100 degree weather.  The decent sized plant has invaded the front garden!

Reluctantly, we are getting into the fall spirit with some mums:

This past weekend was the Regional LPA event in Annapolis.  Pres and I decided to drive up for the day and see the Hall, Green, Yiannakis and Davis families.  We all met for a boat ride in the harbor in Annapolis first. Due to some serious traffic I thought we would never make it, but fate opened up a parking spot right at the harbor and we made the boat with five minutes to spare.  I am so glad we did because it was such a beautiful day.

We then stopped with the Greene’s to get gelati.  Preston insisted on the green gelati (mint chocolate chip).  After about ten bites he told me it tasted like medicine.  What’s a mom to do except finish it!  Then we were then off to the park, where the kiddos played in dirt!  Pres brought his trucks (except for his orange cab which no one was allowed to touch except Destini and Paula when he went potty).  The boys had a blast.  Because we were at the park, they all got bathed with wipes!  It was so much fun seeing everyone again.  I love our POLP family and cherish all of our times together!

We loved seeing you guys too! Trace loved playing with Preston with the trucks, although he really liked the orange one, lol!

As usually lots of fun when you all get together. I know secretly you were wishing Preston would pick a flavor he didn't like so you could finish it! Love all the pictures, Preston seems to enjoy picture taking again!

What a fantastic day! Great idea to meet at the park and let the kids play. I bet the mommies had a wonderful time visiting. Love all the pictures of the adorable kiddos together!

WOW. Does pres get cuter EVERY day? I think he does. Such a big boy he is now. So not a baby! What a fun weekend getaway. I have a feeling that you are going to need some more weekend getaways soon since soon someone will once again be foregoing his obligations and comitments.

What a great day! So glad Jenn had the idea to meet at the park rather than dinner at the banquet. It was so much more relaxing than forcing the boys to a sit down dinner!

It was so great to see you guys, and I got a hug from Pres (lucky me)!! You got great pictures! I'm so glad that you made it to the boat on time! I don't think we ever miss out on ice-cream or gelati when we go downtown! :)
Simon had a blast playing with Pres, and he loved the cool trucks that Pres brought to share (have now added them to his Christmas wishlist)! It was so great to chat with you again! Same here - love our POLP family and our get togethers are always so much fun!
Simon is so happy that Pres likes his puzzle! He said "cool Preston!" when he saw the picture of him with the puzzle together! Now he keeps asking me where Preston is because he wants to play! :) Simon also says a big thank you for the cool clothes, Pres!
That coleus plant is beautiful!

Oh I miss you guys! I want to give Preston a squeeze :0) That Coleus plant is huge! They grow well here too with the summer heat we get.
So jealous you got to see some of our POLP family again. The picture of Trace & Preston at the park is adorable! I can see them together in 10 or so years, start preparing them for the girls now!
