What a weekend! I cannot believe it is over. All the planning and all the talk. But it totally lived up to the hype. We did not get to the convention until Sunday. I thought I was totally screwed but was pretty elated to score a room at the downtown Marriott in NYC. Until Tonya called. She told me to call Brooklyn-ask for Melanie. Tonya rules. I got a room in Brooklyn. I cannot tell you how amazing it was to meet our blogging family. Alex was totally right-it’s like we have known each other forever! And the kids are even cuter in person. My son’s behavior left a lot to be desired-mainly because since Thursday he was up every night until almost 11 if not later. First here are a few pics from Fourth of July weekend pre-convention! Look who charmed Jet Blue in the Richmond airport and was invited into the cockpit?
We visited Aunt Melski Friday morning and in the afternoon visited with Amanda and then got a much needed haircut at our old salon!

Kim, oh how I wish that we had been there to join in on all the fun! It looks like everyone had a blast! Thank you for sharing your pictures and as always Pres looks like such a stud in all of them! I can't wait until we can meet in person - hopefully in Nashville!
Well of course Preston got invited into the cockpit! I would expect nothing less from that cute little devil.
I am SO sad we did not make the convention...but hopefully this is the last year we will have to miss. Loving seeing all the blogs and photos.
Thanks for all the photos....looks like you all had a ball. I soooo wish i could meet you all in person. To see all the kids together in one spot is just amazing. Glad you made it home safe and sound.
Wow!!! Preston take such nice pictures. My favorite one is him in the apple. I think it is so adorable. You really got great picture of everyone in New York. I wish we were there. Maybe next year, Thanks for sharing those pisture with us
You got fantastic pictures!!! I am so mad, I hardly got any good pics of all the kids together - unless of course, you count the ones of them attacking each other with balloon swords! The 4th of July pics...I have no words. Seriously!!! The shirt, the smile, I just can't take it. It was so great seeing you, and we can't wait to come visit Richmond. The convention was so much fun! I know Nashville will be amazing. Miss you guys!
