It's a Preston Thing

This past weekend Aunt Pat and Uncle Dennis visited. It was so great. I took for granted how close geographically we were, because I do very much miss pizza Fridays! We went back to Williamsburg to hit the outlets, since Preston's foot has grown again. Of course that meant FIVE pairs of new shoes. (Emily-the Stride Rite outlet is truly amazing)! One thing my aunt loves about Preston is his ability to stand up without bending his knees. Preston's double jointedness is one added bonus of achon. His superior upper body strength is uncanny for a kid not even three. So here are a few Preston shots for example:
Perhaps a gold medal on the rings is in his future???

And he can even sit wider-he just was so cooperative for picture taking :-)

And here is just a great shot of the dude before we went out to Glory Days for dinner the other night when everyone arrived. (And looking handsome in the shirt given to him by Jolie)!

We are so super excited for Aunt Tinka's arrival this weekend!!!!!

Hahaha - love the pictures! Particularly the velour jogging suit - he looks so pimp! We keep hearing rumors about the prices at the Stride Rite outlets, and now that Caitlin is in her first pair of Stride Rites we're gonna have to check that out! (More on Caitlin's sudden need for shoes in a soon-to-come blog post!) So do our LP kids outgrow their shoes as quickly as the AH ones do? Evan blew through his Stride Rites way too fast! Fortunately the new First Steps ones come with extra rubber on the toes now, so they don't wear through as fast when the new shoe-wearer crawls...

I keep on hearing about that trick that achons can do with their legs when standing up...can't wait to see Anaïs do that!
The pictures are so cute, he looks so happy!!

I am laughing over here, Seamus does the EXACT same thing between the couch and the coffee table...uses that incredible upper body strength to lift himself up and swing his legs back and forth. Too funny! He'll say, "Mom, watch this!" It's one of his best tricks! Our kids are so funny! So glad to hear about the awesome deals at the Stride Rite outlet, we'll be hitting it up again soon because the shoes I JUST got him for school are getting small. What the heck?? Preston is looking so grown up lately!

What a cutie! I can't wait to see Parker getting up without bending his knees. I can already tell he is really flexible. I didn't really notice until my sister mentioned that other kids just don't move like that! :-)

Yep - it looks like you have a little champion in training! So cute!
I'm anxious to go outlet shopping soon - Williamsburg does have great outlets.

Gotta love the Stride Rite outlets, after you go to the real store for measurements, of course! I am heading up to the new outlets near us in a few weeks! Wait until you see Trace's "tatoo" on his little achon bicep whenever I finally update my blog!

Stride Rite is the best. Going to be taking Aidan for more shoes there within the next couple of weeks. Aidan does exactly the same thing as Preston. Upper body strength is amazing. I keep thinking either a gymnast or a powerlifter.

I'm going to find the address to your new house, sneak in and steal Preston. You will have to use this comment as evidence! Don't worry I'll keep training him for the Olympics!

Wow! I've only been following your blog for a short time, but Preston has grown so much. He looks more like a little boy now, not a toddler. He really is adorable, er...handsome.

He was doing a lot of swinging this weekend. I'm very impressed. He also knows how far he can go with out pushing himself to the point he'll fall. He's a smart cookie.

Speaking of cookies, I put out his sugar cookies with a note saying he made them and everyone at the Surge loved them! Especially Ronnie, he wanted me to tell Preston personally how delicious they were!
