I bought her candles from Yankee Candle and wrote her a note for when she should light each candle through the year. Her mom, Debbie, wrote her a poem using household items. Tara and Teri asked Pete questions about Mel. Every time she would get a question wrong she’d have to chew a piece of gum. Of course at first we told her it would be a cherry tomato. And Mel abhors tomatoes!
Here are some other pics from the day!

What a great shower! Mel looks beautiful and is just beaming! You can see her happiness shining through in all these pictures! Awesome gift idea from the bridal party, I'm sure that was one of her faves. What an amazing wedding this will be! Oh and I just have to tell you how jealous I am of Preston's tan in the last post! I think these kids have the right idea, transforming into fish for the summer!
Mel--you look radiant and you will have a beautiful wedding party--i'm sorrry i couldn't attend but we had the P man --- so thrilled that your day was as special as you-
What a beautiful bridal shower! Mel looks so happy and beautiful - can't wait to see pictures that you post from her wedding! Love your dress in these pictures too!
The honeymoon gift basket from the bridal party is such a great gift idea! It looks like everyone had a great time celebrating!
Beautiful pictures! Does she have 8 ladies in her bridal party?!
Great ideas! I really like the idea of bridal showers. You have so much of fun with your girls and sometimes pretend to be the groom. It was lovely going through this post, she looks beautiful in this white dress. I am also planning to wear white for my bridal shower which is next week in a fine LA venue.
